Croquet is an entertaining and healthy outdoor participation sport.

Social or Pennant Croquet.
Enjoy the wonderful friendship and atmosphere of social croquet or for the more enthusiastic participate and enjoy pennant croquet.
Golf croquet is practiced at our social croquet games.

The Club is a great location to enjoy playing or supporting Association and/or Golf croquet. Greens are of the highest standard. Our clubhouse is a top class facility with lighting for evening and twilight play, and generous on-site car parking. Club facilities, including bar, are available for hire.

In 2017 the Holdfast Bay Bowls and Croquet Club changed its name to Club Holdfast for promotional and trading purposed but still retained its entity (Holdfast Bay Bows & Croquet Club Incorporated).

Monday Green Maintenance -- No Play

Wednesday 9:30 – 12 noon Golf Croquet

Friday 9.30 – 12 noon Golf Croquet

Saturday 9.30 – 12 noon Golf Croquet

At all other times including nights 7.00pm - 10pm Members can use the lawns for practice or privately organized games,

Croquet SA - Hot Weather Policy - quick guide
To be used in conjunction with the full weather policy below
Temperature Sessional events (e.g. Pennants) Non-sessional events
32-34 Play first 2 sessions but finish by 1.30pm Finish by 1.30pm
35-36 Play first session but finish by 11.00am No play between 11.00am and 7.00pm (no matches started that are not likely to finish by 11.00am)
37 and over No play No play
Note: a Tournament or Event Manager may allow play, but only if actual temperature is clearly less than forecast

DRESS CODE

Includes closed flat soled shoes.

The Club has a certified Level 2 Coach.
